In the River Room:
"New Work: Greto-Brunner and LeVasseur"
Meet the artists at an opening reception
Saturday, May 11 from 2-4pm.
An exceptional pairing featuring artists Mary Greto-Brunner and Joël LeVasseur. Two unique perspectives celebrating form and environmental awareness respectively.
Mary Greto-Brunner, a semi-abstract artist, blends paint and mixed media, drawing inspiration from fashion, interiors, and landscapes. Her intuitive process explores color, composition, and texture, often incorporating collage and photo transfers.
Joël LeVasseur, an Acadian environmental artist based in Damariscotta, is driven by his heritage and the environmental changes he sees. His work reflects on human impact, loss of culture, and environmental degradation. His environmentally themed print work utilizes gelatin printmaking method incorporating found materials and vintage paper.
